Truly mindblowing. I remember when Google went out and interviewed people on the streets of NYC, asking them if they knew what a browser was. I wonder how many heads would have exploded if they had asked for the definition of a URL.

I just logged into Blogger for the first time since January. In so doing I caught my first post from a plane (last December) and noted how I’d like a net book soon. My most recent flight was iPad mania, FWIW. Things change. Quickly.

Your rating system fucking stinks. I just saw The Black Swan, and guess what? Neither “I didn’t like it” nor “I liked it” sum up my feelings. For Christ’s sake, why isn’t the 3-star rating “It was OK?”

Quick entry about Tumblr itself.
I’m a big fan of this service, downtime and all. I particularly like the photos that are featured in my dashboard (see attached image). But I’d like to view them without leaving my dashboard itself. Minor quibble, but I think it everytime I see something neat feature there.
